During the first half of the 1900s, business travelers were frequent overnight guest of the Painchauds. In 1944, son Charles took possession of the ancestral home and raised his family of nine children.

It wasn't until after 1975 when there was room enough to once again welcome guests.

In 1992, a fourth generation of the Painchaud family completely renovated the house to more comfortably accommodate island visitors.

It is with pleasure that we welcome you into our ancestral home, facing the ocean and surrounded by the unique atmosphere of "La Grave".

We are also able to offer our guests two small, studio types, chalets.
